Relax in a secluded quiet atmosphere surrounded by nature, trees, singing birds, horses in the pasture and the running creek behind the house. Brookisde Country Retreat and Horse Farm is an ideal place to unwind and recharge but having the conveniences of Weaverville and Asheville nearby to experience many different types of vacations and adventures.
Brookisde Country Retreat was built int he 1930s and recently remodeled as a vacation rental with modern amenities while keeping its older rustic charm of the orginal home. Large wooden beams cross the living room while the wood burning fireplace and the exterior of the main entrance still have the orginal stones when the home was first built.
As you walk the property of the horse farm you will see the mountain ridge views that are picturesque. The breezes of the refreshing mountain air are exhilarating. Dont forget to say “Hello!” to our horses as many families that have stayed here have ineracted witht the horses by brushing and feeding them and learning the responsibilities of taking care of horses. Please ask the owner first before interacting.

Our family absolutely loved every moment of our week long stay at this serene mountain horse farm! The house is gorgeous and has so much to offer with its multiple porches and mountain views. The interior is beautifully decorated and is stocked with everything you need! Visiting the horses daily was an added special treat to our experience! And being able to bring our family dog was just icing on the cake! Frank is a wonderful host who makes you feel right at home and goes out of his way to ensure your stay is perfect! The location is ideal for exploring the Asheville area! We will definitely be back and cannot recommend this charming place enough!
